*Favorite exercise routine: I am a local personal trainer.
I love to teach cycle, it gives me and others so much energy.
Lifting weights is No. 1 in shaping muscle. As we age,
weights are so important

*Major exercise accomplishment: I have been in the gym since
I was 13 years old. I took what I love most and made a career
for myself. I love giving back to others the gift of health and fitness .
Proudest exercise moment: To stand in front of others and teach a
great cycle or core class.

*Significant health improvement: I am stronger than ever; my
endurance is exceptional

*Why I exercise: The high I get from training is better than anything.
I love to be healthy and fit!

*How working out makes me feel: Strong. I can accomplish anything
after a great workout!

*How I find the time: There is always one hour in our day
to train. I do it first thing in the a.m., then I am ready for
my clients.


*What motivates me to move: How strong my body feels.
If we rest ... we rust!

*What keeps me going: A strong attitude. When weather
is bad: In the gym. You will find me stairclimbing,
cycling, weights

*Favorite gym: The Fitness Plaza; it is family owned and
personal, and I've worked there for many years

*Role model: Keli Roberts, who I have met


*Favorite equipment: Elliptical trainer

*Special strategies to keep me moving: When I look at
my arms in the mirror, that is motivation enough

*How I control the urge to loaf: I never loafed a day in my
life. My mom always said when she carried me I bounced
all around and I still do!

*Helpful tip: Anyone has one hour to be healthy -- just get
up and move!!

*What I eat: fruits, veggies, egg whites and fish, and
chocolate once a week!!
